Autumn 2026: Hungry Ghost month has closed, Mid-Autumn is a community lantern programme, then Nine Emperor Gods. There is no large-format Mid-Autumn street light-up on Eu Tong Sen Street this year.

Hungry Ghost Festival
Ended 11 September. Peak day was 27 August. Getai, wayang, and roadside offerings. Do not sit in the getai front row or step on leftover offerings.

Mid-Autumn community lanterns
No large lanterns on Eu Tong Sen Street or New Bridge Road this year. Booths at Kreta Ayer CC, Kreta Ayer Square and Banda Street. Festival day 25 September. Main night 19 September, 6pm.

Smith Street by day, Kreta Ayer by night
CBA daytime programme: Kong Chow Wui Koon lion dance and wushu at 2pm. Community lantern procession after 6pm. Lantern painting registration closed 9 September.

Mooncakes on Sago Street and Chinatown Point
Two Tai Chong Kok bakeries on Sago Street. Thye Moh Chan at Chinatown Point, 15% off sets until 14 September. Yue Hwa Mid-Autumn fair through 27 September.

Bit Bit Forest lanterns at SCCC
Chinatown skipped the street lantern corridor. Walk about 12 minutes to the SCCC roof garden for giant inflatable rabbits. Family weekend 19–20 September.
9 – 18 Oct
Nine Emperor Gods Festival
Taoist temple rites, processions, and a send-off near Chinatown and Chin Swee. Overlaps the last community lantern days.
