The Chinatown stamp rally is a free walk: collect a card, stamp at participating shops, redeem a souvenir, usually a layered postcard. It gives first-time visitors a reason to enter heritage stores instead of only photographing the facades.
The second-edition rally has already wrapped. Mid-Autumn editions in 2025 ran from 18 September to 20 October, tied to the street light-up. That light-up is not happening in 2026. As of 12 September, Chinatown Festivals has not published a 2026 Mid-Autumn station list. Do not book a trip around a postcard that does not exist yet.
How a Chinatown stamp rally usually works
- Pick up a blank stamp card or postcard at a start point. Recent editions used Yue Hwa Chinese Products, festival booths, or Chinatown Point concierge.
- Walk the listed stops. Typical streets are Pagoda Street, Smith Street, Trengganu Street, Sago Street, and Mosque Street, plus a few indoor shops.
- Collect every layer or every required stamp. Some editions use a single layered illustration that only completes when every station is visited.
- Return to the redemption counter for a free souvenir postcard or a small festive gift while stocks last.
There is no ticket and no registration for the public street versions. Opening hours follow the shops, often roughly 10am to 5:30pm for indoor stamps.

- Street light-up on Eu Tong Sen Street and New Bridge Road: cancelled for Mid-Autumn 2026
- Community lanterns: 11 September to 4 October at Kreta Ayer Square and Banda Street
- Next Mid-Autumn station list: not published as of 12 September 2026

Walk the same loop without a card
The rally is a walking tour with a souvenir attached. You can run the same streets now:
- Start at Chinatown MRT Exit A and walk Pagoda Street on the heritage trail
- Visit Sri Mariamman Temple and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple
