Rise Bakehouse Heritage is the newest and most ambitious outlet of the beloved artisanal bakery chain, located in a charming heritage shophouse at 273 South Bridge Road in the heart of Chinatown. Established in 2022, this Muslim-friendly cafe represents the brand's most daring concept, blending nostalgia with local character through old-school wooden furniture, vintage-style cabinets filled with "Good Morning" towels, and classic Singaporean rickshaw displays. Unlike their other locations, this Chinatown branch features an expanded menu with Singapore-inspired mains, specialty All Day Brunch options, and signature items like Crab Scrambled Eggs Tartine with Chilli Oil and Pineapple Chimichurri Steak & Frites (priced 8.90-1.90). The cafe maintains their reputation for artisanal cakes, specialty coffee, brown butter waffles, and gelato while embracing Chinatown's cultural heritage. Operating Monday-Thursday and Sunday 11:30am-8:30pm (closed Tuesdays), Friday-Saturday 11:30am-10pm, Rise Bakehouse Heritage offers a unique dining experience that celebrates both modern culinary innovation and Singapore's rich cultural legacy in a spacious, thoughtfully designed heritage setting.
Stepping into Rise Bakehouse Chinatown felt like entering a beautifully curated space! The decor is so chic and inviting. Really old school charm in a new and well maintained space.
The overall vibe? Relaxed and perfect for a chill afternoon or date.
Definitely a must-visit spot for a sweet treat and a dose of charm!

Recently opened, still long queue. I waited for about 30 mins. Nice atmosphere with heritage vibes and nice music. Tried their Kopi Tiramisu Cake and Cappuccino.
Tiramisu cake was nice and fluffy, the sponge cake inside was moist and soft, compliments well with the cream. I personally liked it. Coffee was good and smooth, balanced well with the milk.
Overall was good experience, worth the queue. Service was good dan staff were helpful. Will come back again and try other cakes :)
Next visit: Tried Kaya Pistachio Cake and Hot Cappuccino. As usual coffee was good, hot, and got nice latte art. And the Kaya Pistachio Cake was nice, fluffy and not too sweet. Each layer were all well balanced between the light sponge cake, pistachio paste, pistachio nuts, pistachio cream, and the pandan kaya jam on the top.

Absolutely love the new Rise Bakehouse branch! The ambience here is so cozy and welcoming — definitely the most beautiful out of their three locations. They’ve introduced some new bakes inspired by Singaporean flavors, which are really delicious. The drinks are great too, perfectly complementing their freshly baked treats. I haven’t had the chance to try their mains yet, but I’ll definitely be back again to explore more. A wonderful spot to relax, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy some good food and coffee!

The café has a decent and inviting vibe – I especially loved the warm lighting that gives the space a cozy charm. The retro floor tiles and old-school partition wall bricks add a lovely nostalgic touch and make the interior visually appealing.
Unfortunately, the desserts didn’t quite live up to the ambiance. I tried their exclusive Kueh Salat Cake, which sounded interesting but didn’t deliver. It lacked the familiar taste and texture of traditional kueh salat, and the kaya mousse was overly sweet, masking the delicate flavors I was hoping for.
Beautiful space to relax, but there’s room for improvement when it comes to the dessert execution.

Food, dessert, vibe is excellent!!
I had the curry mayo fish and chip
- crispy and the fish is thick!
- nice lemon 🍋 slice to juice your fish
Another is Avocado croissant
- very nice presentation
- good amount love it!
The star ⭐ of the dish is the kueh salat cake!
It’s a refreshing new taste, ted bit of saltiness and the cake is airy and not too sweet.
Perfect 👌🏻
I’d come again for sure
Small downside is the food is a little slow.
