Kra Pow Thai Restaurant at Chinatown Point brings authentic Thai street food to Singapore's cultural heart, with "Kra Pow" meaning "holy basil" in Thai, reflecting their commitment to traditional flavors and fresh herbs sourced directly from Thailand. This expanded location offers a more upmarket, cleaner dining environment compared to their original Far East Plaza outlet, featuring an extensive menu with nett pricing and no service charge. The restaurant is renowned for their signature Drunkard Noodles, a rare Thai street food dish featuring flat rice noodles packed with intense spice and wok hei, available with minced pork, chicken thigh, or tiger prawn and fresh squid. Their Thai-speaking chefs prepare an array of authentic dishes including Devil's Beef Fried Rice, Tom Yum Fried Rice, Green Curry, Pad Thai, and Clear Tom Yum Seafood Soup, all crafted with fresh, flavorful herbs imported from Thailand. Operating daily from 11:30am to 9:30pm, Kra Pow has earned recognition as a hidden gem for value-for-money authentic Thai cuisine with generous portions and attentive service.
No frills Thai food. The crispy Thai wing was impeccable - crispy skin yet the chicken meat was still tender. The chicken wings were in bite sized pieces, very cute! Drunkard noodles were quite spicy 😅 Classic papaya salad was tasty, full of papaya, corn, green beans. 😋 The only downside is that when the restaurant is crowded, the noise echoes and becomes quite noisy.

Pork Krapow is nice and the pork is quite tender. The rice is good.
Fried Garlic Pork is with different flavor, quite special.
Their curry noodles is very nice, curry fragrance is good but a little spicy.

My All time Favourite from this restaurant is Drunken Noodle. This is my 3rd time visiting to this branch, I also tried twice for delivery.
Today the drunken noodle seems to be less spicy and I checked with the staff whether it was normal chili or less chili. They took back the dish and checked with the chef. Came back and update me that they will redo the spicy one for me. I was not expecting such service. The food was amazing. I will go back again for their drunken noodle for sure. Oh, the crackling pork belly is so good too.

Went on a Saturday for lunch. The restaurant, which was clean and comfortable, was almost empty. Had drunkard noodles and seabass red tom yam soup, to share. Both noodles and soup were delicious but quite spicy. The soup had a generous serving of thick seabass slices. We will try other items in the menu next time.

🌟 A Hidden Thai Gem Worth Revisiting! 🌟
Stumbled upon this cozy spot and was blown away by the flavors! The fried rice was perfectly seasoned, and the Tom Yam soup hit all the right notes—spicy, tangy, and comforting. The side dishes rounded out the meal beautifully.
What really made the experience shine was the warm hospitality—the lady boss and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I especially appreciated their flexibility when I wanted to swap rice for noodles—such a thoughtful touch!
Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors with a generous side of great service 😄
