Senior Sustainability Consultant

The ideal candidate will have strong creative and analytical skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates an architectural design background / track record balanced with a passion for sustainability, circularity and academic research.

Responsibilities

•  Develop design solutions from conceptual level through to construction documentation
• Develop and produce design and visualisations utilising 2D/3D software
• Coordinate with client team, project manager, consultants, and vendors
• Manage tasks and deliverables to follow project budget and timelines
• Conduct site visits/inspections relating to design briefing, technical coordination and review
• Review, assess and assist to prepare fee proposal, design briefs, RFP, EOI and various forms of tenders submissions
• Assist with the management of junior designers and mentorship of interns
• Participate in the studio’s related marketing initiatives and events
• Contribute to the studio’s research and development activities
• Flexibility to travel throughout Southeast Asia as and when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related design field
• 5+ years of project experience in various project sectors and sizes
• Professional registration, affiliation and /or other accreditation preferred
• Green Rating accreditation preferred (ie. Green Mark, LEED, etc)
• A rigorous understanding of sustainable urbanism best practice principles
• Knowledge and experience in CAD and Revit
• Proficiency in Adobe (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), MS Office Suite and relevant 2D/3D environmental simulation software
• Possess strong verbal and written communication, graphic and organisational skills
• In-depth knowledge of relevant design codes, standards and compliance in SEA context
• Excellent analytical and challenge resolution skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• A flexible and open attitude towards new methods of collaboration
