Full-Time Service Crew – Ember Restaurant

📍 Location: North Canal Road, Singapore

📅 Availability: 5-day work week | Rotating shifts including weekends & PH

About Ember

Ember is a modern European woodfire BBQ restaurant set in a forest-inspired space between Chinatown and Clarke Quay. We specialise in open-flame cooking, warm hospitality, and delivering memorable dining experiences in a nature-meets-fire setting. Role: Service Crew (Front-of-House)

As a member of our service team, you’ll be the face of Ember — welcoming guests, taking orders with confidence, recommending dishes and wines, and ensuring every table feels cared for. You will also play a key role in supporting smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests with warmth, efficiency, and professionalism
• Introduce the menu and offer recommendations (especially woodfire dishes & wine pairings)
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service flow
• Clear and reset tables in a timely and tidy manner
• Handle basic customer queries and feedback with a positive attitude
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the outlet
• Participate in daily pre-service briefings and contribute to team performance

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a full-service restaurant preferred (but fresh grads are welcome)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A team player with initiative and a good work ethic
• Keen interest in food, wine, and hospitality
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Willing to learn and grow with the team
