Director of Financing/Fund Raising

Location: Singapore

Reports to: CEO / Board of Directors

Position Summary

The Director of Fund Raising will lead the company’s fundraising and capital strategy, supporting the Company’s growth across game development, publishing, and global expansion. This role will own the end-to-end fundraising process, manage investor relationships, and work closely with senior management to ensure capital planning aligns with the company’s long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities

1.     Fundraising & Capital Strategy

·        Develop and execute short- and long-term fundraising strategies (equity, convertible instruments, strategic investments)
·        Lead the full fundraising lifecycle: investor targeting, pitching, due diligence, valuation discussions, term sheet negotiation, and closing
·        Design and optimize the company’s capital structure to support sustainable growth
·        Investor Relations & Strategic Partnerships
·        Build and maintain strong relationships with VCs, PEs, strategic investors, and family offices
·        Prepare and maintain investor materials including pitch decks, financial models, and business updates
·         Support CEO and Board communications with existing and prospective investors

2.     Financial & Strategic Support

·        Work closely with finance and leadership teams to develop financial projections, cash flow planning, and valuation models
·        Support M&A, strategic partnerships, and IP investment opportunities through financial and commercial analysis
·        Monitor capital market trends and investment activity within the gaming and technology sectors

3.     Governance & Compliance

·        Coordinate with legal advisors, auditors, and corporate secretarial teams to ensure regulatory and legal compliance for all fundraising activities
·        Manage fundraising documentation, shareholder agreements, and disclosure requirements

Requirements

1.     Education

·        Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
·       MBA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualifications are a plus

2.     Experience

·        Minimum 8 years of experience in fundraising, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or strategic investments
·        Proven track record of leading and closing multiple funding rounds
·        Experience in gaming, technology, internet, or content-driven industries is highly preferred

3.     Skills & Competencies

·        Strong understanding of equity financing structures, valuation methodologies, and investment terms
·        Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
·        Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage
·        Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
