Backend Systems Engineer

📌 Job Description:

What You Will Do

• Architect and develop backend services that support high-volume processing and real-time operations

• Build APIs and microservices to enable seamless integration across internal and external systems

• Optimize database design, caching strategies, and system throughput

• Strengthen system security by implementing encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms

• Monitor and improve system reliability, availability, and performance

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term technical solutions

• Work closely with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions

• Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and engineering best practices

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend architecture improvements

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

• Minimum 5 years of backend development experience

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful service development

• Experience designing scalable distributed architectures

• Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases

• Strong knowledge of system security, authentication protocols, and data protection standards

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams

• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills
